The Post Charter was granted in 1949 by the National Committee. We still have one active member who signed the original Charter.

The Post meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Legion Hall. Meetings are open to all Legion members. Anyone who would like to transfer membership or join as a new member is welcome.

Events:

Memorial Day: Members honor local veterans by placing American flags on each veteran’s grave, laying a wreath and performing a rifle volley salute at the local cemeteries, followed by a short parade and ceremony at the Village Park.

Veterans Day: Members and spouses and/or guests enjoy a dinner provided by the Post.

Fundraisers consist of a breakfast in March, a summer golf outing, and a Feather Party in November.

The Legion will properly dispose or worn and/or torn US and State flags.

The Legion Hall is available for special events, meetings, etc (donation required).
